We would like to wish Angus Macfadyen the very best of luck when he swims the English Channel in August. We have sponsored Angus in his attempt which he is running for Lawrence’s Roundabout Well Appeal. This is a unique initiative whereby money is raised to build pumps to bring water to villages in Africa, the unique bit being that the pump is operated by a roundabout!
You can find out more about Angus and his swim at his blog: http://www.channelangus.co.uk – you can also see the great animation that we put together to encourage people to donate.

We would like to pass on our congratulations and thanks to Tristan Sharps and the team at dreamsthinkspeak for putting together a truly amazing installation for the Brighton Festival.
We were commissioned to work on the dilapidated Eastern European post-communist shop signage for the installation at the Old Co-Op Building on London Road, Brighton. It was quite a bizarre task and we were deliberately kept in the dark as to a lot of the content for the installation. This made for a truly unique experience when we had the pleasure of viewing the final exhibition and not knowing what to expect. It certainly made for a haunting experience.
Thanks also go to Click-Click-Jim and Zoli from Exhibit Printing who we worked with on the project.
Keep a look out for future dreamthinkspeak exhibitions as those of you who went will know what everyone else missed out on.

Some of you may be aware that WordPress 3.0 was released last month. We love WordPress and use it as the CMS (Content Managament System) for many of our clients’ websites. It allows our clients to have full control of their website, create and remove pages, upload content, edit content and integrate with various social media tools.
We have been upgrading some of our client sites to 3.0 and we have had great feedback so far. We’ll be making sure all sites are updated so as to include all the latest features and security updates.
We’re really looking forward to unlocking some of the great new features allowing us to build great, cost-effective websites for our clients.

We are proud to announce that we have signed up as headline sponsors as well as brand and digital partner to the Brighton & Hove Business Show in October 2010.
The April show was a great success with BBC Dragons’ Den coming in so visitors cold pitch their ideas. We also had appearances from government ministers and BBC Grand Designs presenter Oliver Heath.
Our involvement with the next show will include continued development with the brand and digital mediums. We will also be helping to stage the worlds largest speed networking event at the Brighton Hilton on the 6th September. You can book in at http://www.brightonandhovebusinessshow.co.uk
