We recently produced a poster for a Brighton production of Five Kinds of Silence at the New Venture Theatre. We have attached the press release and poster as we think it’s going to be a great production.
“The play is on at the New Venture Theatre in Bedford Place, Brighton (the turning opposite the ‘Star and Sailor’ on Western Road) every night at 7.45pm from 21st – 28th February (Matinee on Sunday 22nd at 2.30pm) and there’s no evening show on Sunday/Monday. The tickets are £7.00 (if you’re not a Member or Friend of the theatre) and £8.50 on the Friday and final Saturday nights (All tickets £5 Tuesday). You can either reserve tickets yourself by calling 01273 746118, or online at www.newventure.org.uk or I can reserve them for you. You’ll need to pay for and collect them from the theatre at least 15 minutes before the performance starts and allow plenty of time for parking which can be difficult.
What’s it about? This is the shocking story of a family living under the power of the vicious Billy, who physically, emotionally, and sexually abuses his wife and their two daughters. This play is about control, madness and how the family is bonded by abuse, perpetuated through their silence; they are physically, emotionally and mentally separated from the outside world.
*This production contains strong language and adult themes and, as such, is not suitable for children.
As a second act to ‘Five Kinds of Silence’, up and coming singer/song-writers Janna Fox and Charlotte Grimes will be performing an original acoustic collection of songs written with the play in mind.”

We have just launched an online portfolio for Architect Grazyna Zielinska-Rust. Yes Grazyna is Jan and Stefan’s Mum (and no we didn’t make her pay for it!) but we’re particularly proud of it so have decided to include it in our news.
The website is Flash based as search engine optimisation was not required. We went for a dynamic page turning effect as well as adding animation to a great illustration.
